The NPA East Summer PREP

A Total Body Development Program for the Throwing Athlete!

Throw harder and healthier with this NPA throwing program for ALL baseball players and overhand throwing athletes!
This total body velocity program is for athletes, especially pitchers, who want to improve throwing mechanics, strengthen the body and throw harder while being more efficient through new age training protocols that GET RESULTS!
This program is conducted by NPA East Director, Gardy O'Flynn and NPA East Affiliate Coach/Strength and North Shore Performance Training owner, James Baker
This Program begins July 6th and ends August 31st (17 sessions)
When- 2 visits per week: Tuesday and Thursday Workouts. 8 week program.
(July 6th- Day 1 Performance Assessment)
Time- 1 PM - 4 PM
Where- Route 1 SportsPlex/North Shore Performance Training in Danvers, MA
Spots are limited- the first 20 players to sign up are in!
10 spots for ages 8 - Middle School AND 10 spots for High School and College
Program Information
Each session will include 1 hour and 30 minutes of customized NPA programming full of skill work, mechanics drills and arm strengthening exercises AND 1 hour and 30 minutes of customized North Shore Performance Training workouts to complement the NPA throwing program.   
These NSPT workouts will include: speed and agility exercises and functional training workouts to build strength and power throughout the entire body. These workouts will also include important core strengthening and range of motion mobility exercises. Each workout will be modified to each athlete's ability level.
NPA Throwing Program Details:
  • specific block training NPA dynamic warm-up protocols
  • arm strengthening and range of motion exercises to build stability, speed and healthy bio-mechanics movement patterns
  • patterning drills to build proper throwing mechanics for a healthier, stronger and faster body
  • customized throwing and drills programs based around each athlete's summer sports schedule
  • This program includes a (PIT) Point In Time Velocity Capacity Evaluation
  • Pre-program testing, Mid-program testing, Post program testing and a customized in-season maintenance program
  • S.T.A.T. Testing NPA protocols for all athletes
S.T.A.T. represents the following:
  • Screening for Weak Links
  • Testing for Point in Time Capacity
  • Accessing for Efficiency of Movement, Strength, and Flexibility
  • Training for Efficient Movement, Muscle Balance, Velocity, and Neuro-Muscular Speed Thresholds 
The NPA East Total Body Velocity Program Includes:
 8 weeks of monitored NPA and NSPT training sessions (17 sessions- $90/day)
  • UPGRADE-Additional NSPT workouts can be purchased with an Unlimited Training Option!
-   Two 3 hour clinics per week. Tuesday & Thursday
-       Point In Time Velocity Capacity Testing (a $75.00 value)
-       The NPA Ball Kit ($119 value)
-       Pre, Mid and Post Training radar tests
-       Periodic Video Analysis with NPA Instructors Gardy O'Flynn  and James Baker 
-       The mental side of pitching: discussions following each session!
-    Programming for in-season summer maintenance patterning and home training routines for      athletes to complete on their own
-       Discounts on all NPA products and future clinics
 COST:   $1,500  over 50 Hours of Instruction
